St. Johannes's biggest asset is the closely-knit and welcoming community. We like to have fun. We enjoy doing life together, both growing and serving. We want to share our fun and fellowship with new people. Below are just a few ideas to participate, but as you get to know the people here, you will find there are many more.
For $10 get a full hotdog or brat meal, a drink, and prime seats for a Riverdogs homegame. Other events include our annual Oyster Roast at the home of a couple members, group dinners out on the town, and more.
At St. Johannes, we are passionate about serving our community. Jesus cared about the poor, the widow, the orphan, the outsider, and so we do too. We partner with several local non-profits to do what we can to show Jesus' love for all people.
We offer children's sermons whenever children are in worship service. Additionally, we offer day camp events from time to time. We believe that children can be part of every aspect of the church. One great thing we can offer is safe older adults who will take your child under their wing and love them. The community is rich here.
You will find a place here in Sean Holleran's classroom on Sunday mornings from 11 am to 11:40 am. Sean is our Director of Music, but he also has a heart for seeing people grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus. Come join him and other eager learners!
Everyone can make a joyful noise! We love music at St. Johannes. Not only can you find your place in our choir, but you will find community with the people there. You will instantly be part of a loving group of people who care for one another.
