Free Farmer's Market Blesses Residents of Neighborhood Housing Facility

Five St. Johannes members rallied their efforts to provide a free farmer's market for residents of the Ansonborough House in downtown Charleston. Before the stand was set up, there was a line 20-people deep and more coming off the elevator to find a place. Bags, even carts, awaited the delicious-looking produce. Smiles abounded. Pastor Aaron DeBenedetto led everyone in prayer in thanksgiving for the people gathered and the produce provided. 

Members of St. Johannes secured donations from a farm near Kiawah Island and multiple Harris Teeter grocery stores. Who received the greatest gift? Those who received produce or those who gave it away? All were blessed on this day.
